Metro Nashville Council Member At-Large Erica Gilmore has partnered with State Representative Brenda Gilmore, Dr. Lakisha Simmons, the Tennessee State University Women's Center and Belmont University to participate in the Nashville Period Project Challenge Campaign.

The goal of the Nashville Period Project is not only to help provide access to feminine hygiene products for girls in need but to spark a conversation to #EndPeriodPoverty and help Nashville girls reach their full potential.

The project will also distribute products to Siloam Health, which serves Nashville’s most medically vulnerable, who come from 80 homelands and speak over 70 languages.
